I take great pride in making the best possible prints of my photographs. When I print an image, I start by making a series of test proofs which I carefully examine to ensure that the colors and tones match what I intended for the photo. After viewing each proof, I keep adjusting my images until I cannot find a way to improve the print.
I print my photographs on archival lustre paper with pigments inks using Epson professional printers. This is my preferred medium and in my opinion provides the best combination of vibrant colors, deep blacks, and sharp details. These prints also have excellent longevity which exceeds that of traditional chemical processes.
My prints will have an additional white border around the image so the paper will be slightly larger than the listed size. For example, a 10"x15" print will be made on 11"x16" paper to provide a 1/2" border around the image. In the border, I will hand sign the print as well as provide a location and print number. When you have the print matted, you can choose whether to show the captions depending on your preference.
